[Solution] The back and forth movement of a pressure roller (52) relative to a drive roller (51) when a drive motor (43) rotates in one direction and the back and forth movement of a movable blade (41) relative to a tape transfer path are adjusted to have a desired movement which is in conjunction with one another. A label tape (109) is cut by means of the movable blade (41), then for a predetermined period, the pressure roller (52) and the movable blade (41) are able to move back and forth in conjunction with one another so that the pressure roller (52) is in a contact position.
