PURPOSE: An optical film and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve productivity in the optical film manufacturing process and to confirm the effect of a sulfide fluorescent substance on a hardening condition. CONSTITUTION: An optical film(1) comprises a base film(10), a matrix resin layer(20), a protective resin layer(30), a protective film(40), an adhesive member(50) and a release film(60). The matrix resin layer is arranged on the base film and comprises a fluorescent substance. A resin layer is arranged on the base film. The thickness of the resin layer is 30 to 500icrometers. The protective resin layer is formed on the resin layer. The thickness of the protective resin layer is 20 to 50micrometers. A bonding layer is formed on the protective resin layer.
