摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To specify between which sensors an open fault occurs, and which sensor part causes sensor failure. <P>SOLUTION: When a sensor control part 32 can not detect a current flowing to an output side of an own sensor part, the sensor parts 15a1-15d4 set a setting address same as that of the sensor part of the last stage. When an ECU control part 21 receives the setting addresses and inherent information from all of the sensor parts 15a1-15d4, and when the setting addresses and inherent information for the respective sensor parts are not stored in a memory part 22, an ECU 18E stores the received setting addresses and inherent information of the respective sensor parts. A failure determination part 23 collates the inherent information received by the ECU control part 21 and the inherent information of the memory part 22. When there is one inconsistent inherent information, the sensor part, which holds the inherent information, is determined as a failure.
