<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolyte composition for a dye-sensitized solar cell, excellent in durability by using a nitrile compound having a boiling point at atmospheric pressure of 200°C or higher as a solvent, and to provide a dye-sensitized solar cell. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided an electrolyte composition for a dye-sensitized solar cell and a dye-sensitized solar cell using the electrolyte composition. The electrolyte composition includes: a nitrile compound represented by the following formula (1) (in the formula, R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>represents an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or an alkenyl, aralkyl or aryl group having 2 to 6 carbon atoms) and/or an alkoxy nitrile compound represented the following formula (2) (in the formula, R<SP POS="POST">2</SP>represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, or an alkenyl, aralkyl or aryl group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms); and a redox couple. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
