<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply an image processing to color array used in a single-plate type to an image picked up by a multiple plate-type for reducing jaggy and improving resolution feeling when a color image photographed by the multiple-plate type is thinned. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes: imaging portions which pick up the images in the same pixel arrangement for respective color components obtained by decomposing object light and whose number corresponds to the number of the color components; a thinning/interpolating portion reading pixels in positions which are not mutually overlapped from the plurality of images corresponding to the respective color components, which the imaging portions pick up, and generating the image of the color array which is previously set; an image processing portion performing the image processing peculiar to the color array on the image of the color array, which the thinning/interpolating portion generates, and generating the color image; and a recording portion storing the color image which the image processing portion image-processes in a storage medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
