<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for plastically molding a low Tg metallic glass material to be used for molding, into a predetermined shape while always keeping the low Tg metallic glass material and peripheral working equipment etc., at a supercooling temperature region. <P>SOLUTION: Working equipment 6 for molding the low Tg metallic glass material having a glass transition temperature Tg of 80-200°C is immersed in a silicone oil 2 stored in a tank 1, the temperature of the silicone oil 2 is kept in the range of (Tg+5) to (Tg+30)°C, the low Tg metallic glass material 5 is supplied from the outside of the tank to the working equipment 6 and is plastically molded within the range of 30-300 s, and after that, the molded low Tg metallic glass 5a is discharged rapidly to the outside of the tank. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
