<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a toner residual amount without being equipped with a moving mechanism. <P>SOLUTION: A multifunctional machine includes: a toner cartridge for storing a magnetic toner; a wireless tag 48 that includes an LC resonance circuit, and a magnetic resistance element 48c parallel connected to a coil 48b and a capacitor 48a of the LC resonance circuit, the magnetic resonance element 48c being attached to the toner cartridge; a wireless tag reader for receiving a radio signal from the wireless tag 48; and an arithmetic control unit for detecting the toner residual amount of the toner cartridge based on the radio signal received by the wireless tag reader. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
