PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: a conventional printing technique does not cope with a printed page having deviation of a color tone and applies feedback based on difference in color from original desired color to printing after the next page.

SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises: printing means for printing an image on a recording medium based on printing data; printing result detection means for detecting color of the image printed on the recording medium; color value difference detection means for detecting difference between the color detected by the printing result detection means and color specified in the printing data that corresponds to the detected color; difference image generation means for generating a difference image indicating difference between an image of the printing data and the image printed on the recording medium based on the difference detected by the color value difference detection means; and communication means for transmitting the generated difference image to the other image forming device.
