<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem: in a case where a user performs a large amount of printing, if the number of printed sheets reaches the limit number of printed sheets in the midst of printing, printing operation is automatically stopped before reaching the number of printed sheets required by the user. <P>SOLUTION: When the number of printed sheets reaches the limit number of printed sheets for the user in the midst of printing of printing data (S105), a CPU 31 interrupts printing (S106), and carries out printing restart processing. In the printing restart processing, the CPU 31 requires log-in by other users (S206).
