<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a dishwasher that performs washing in an optimum operation sequence according to a generation state of foam and dirt of dishes, and has stable cleaning performance. <P>SOLUTION: The dishwasher includes: a washing tank 2 for storing an object to be washed, such as the dishes 9; a cleaning means, such as a cleaning nozzle 7 for jetting out wash water to the object to be washed, and a tower nozzle 13; a detection means 15 for detecting turbidity in washing and the generation state of foam contained in the wash water according to transmittance of light; and a control means 19 of controlling operation of the dishwasher according to a result detected by the detection means 15. The detection means 15 detects the transmittance of light in the wash water in a cleaning process and a rinsing process, detects the generation state of foam according to the transmittance of light at a lapse of time, and controls operation after the detection. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
