This fuel cell system is provided with: a system body containing a cell stack that uses a hydrogen-containing gas to generate power; a heat recovery system that recovers heat by circulating a heating medium; and a heat supply unit for supplying a quantity of heat to the heating medium in response to a demand for heat. The fuel cell is further provided with a hydrogen generation unit that is disposed inside the system body, and that uses water vapor to reform a hydrogen-containing fuel and generate a hydrogen-containing gas; a vaporization unit that is disposed inside the system body, and that generates water vapor and supplies the water vapor to the hydrogen generation unit; and a combustion gas flow path that circulates a combustion gas discharged from the heat supply unit. The combustion gas flow path circulates the combustion gas inside the vaporization unit such that the vaporization unit is heated by the combustion gas. |
