The present invention provides a liquid crystal display panel and a liquid crystal display device that have superior viewing angle characteristics and suppressed white blur while having a sufficient transmittance. The liquid crystal panel is provided with a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer sandwiched between both substrates. The first substrate and second substrate each have a circular polarization plate. The first substrate has a first electrode, a second electrode, and an insulating layer sandwiched between the first electrode and the second electrode. The second substrate has a third electrode. The liquid crystal layer contains a liquid crystal molecule that orients radially when a voltage is imposed, and a liquid crystal molecule that is arranged with a fixed orientation direction.
