OPTICAL TRANSMITTER, OPTICAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND OPTICAL TRANSMISSION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve stable bias control of an optical modulator even when applied to an analog signal modulation which varies in modulation degree for each optical waveform.

SOLUTION: An optical transmitter comprises: an analog signal generation part for generating an analog signal based on an input transmission data series; an optical modulator for modulating light based on the analog signal and outputting the modulated optical signal; a bias control circuit for controlling bias voltage applied to the optical modulator; and an adjustment circuit for adjusting control parameters used for controlling the bias voltage based on modulation degree information which indicates a modulation degree corresponding to the optical signal.
