<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of changing the amount of a coating liquid on a coating roller during operation without replacing a plate roller, and capable of setting the coating amount in a longitudinal direction of the roller. <P>SOLUTION: Pusher plates 2 obtained by division are arranged in a longitudinal direction and doctor blades 4 are individually pressed for adjusting a contact pressure between a coating roller 6 and the doctor blades 4. A feeding rod 20 is connected to each of the divided pusher blades 2 via a piece 19. When the feeding rods 20 are extended and contracted by screw adjusting means 5 provided in a casing 12, the divided pusher plates 2 press the doctor blades 4 via the pieces 19, and the contact pressure with the coating roller 6 can be changed.
