<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil temperature detection device for a servo motor which accurately estimates a coil temperature when the motor is in operation, and to provide the servo motor. <P>SOLUTION: A coil temperature detection device for a servo motor comprises: current correction units (101 to 103) which correct a current value flowing in the motor on the basis of a rotation speed value according to an induced voltage generated in the motor; resistance value estimation units (104 to 106) which estimate a coil resistance value of the motor by an iterative least square method using an indicated voltage value to be applied to the motor and the corrected current value; and a temperature discrimination unit 107 which discriminates the coil temperature of the motor based on the estimated resistance value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
