<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet conveyance apparatus having a configuration that does not generate defective images while reducing noise generated in a confluence part of two sheet conveyance paths whose conveyance directions are different, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A belt conveyance part 19 includes: a first support roller 51 that is disposed on the same axis as a transfer roller 36; and a second belt support roller 37 that is disposed more upstream of a second transfer path 104 than the first support roller 51. A transfer belt 55 is rolled between the first and second support rollers 51, 37, and an outer diameter R1 including the transfer belt 55 of the first belt support roller 51 is set to be smaller than an outer diameter R2 of a transfer roller 35.
