<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat allowing lock of a seatback to be released, and to be returned to a seating position, with a simple constitution. <P>SOLUTION: When rotating a link 24 in the arrow A direction by a motor 20, a lever 30 is pressed by a lever pressing pin 28 to rotate the lever 30, a wire 46 is pulled, a lock lever 41 of a lock device 32 is rotated, and a hook part 41A retreats upward so as to open a cutout 38 (lock releasing state). The seatback 14 biased by a spring tilts in response to rotation of the link 24. When the link 24 is rotated in the arrow B direction by the motor 20, the link 24 presses a seatback raising pin 26 of the seatback 14, and the seatback 14 is raised up.
