<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sealing body allowing continuous production without causing contamination in a seal device, even if a content has a complicated shape or a plurality of the contents are sealed at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a sealing body, the content 13 is disposed on a sheet 11 conveyed in one direction, a sheet 12 conveyed in the same direction as the sheet 11 is superimposed thereon, and the sealing body 15 is manufactured by sealing the two sheets 11, 12 at a circumferential edge of the content 13. The content 13 disposed on the sheet 11 is photographed by a camera at the sealing position or at the position in the conveying direction upstream from the sealing position. The photographed content 13 is determined whether disposed at an appropriate position by the image processing of the content.
