<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a vehicle front structure in which a duct is not broken at initial stage of duct retreat cased by frontal collision of a vehicle, and the duct is utilized as an energy absorbing member in the middle of the duct retreat. <P>SOLUTION: An upper duct 22 is provided above an bumper absorber 20 which is arranged along a vehicle width direction, and a lower duct 24 is provided under the bumper absorber 20. The upper duct 22 includes a bent portion 34B in the longitudinal-vehicle-direction middle of vertical wall portions 22A and 22B arranged along the longitudinal vehicle direction. In the same way, the lower duct 24 includes the bent portion 34B in the longitudinal-vehicle-direction middle of vertical wall portions 24A and 24B. At initial stage of retraction of the upper duct 22 and the lower duct 24 caused by frontal collision of the vehicle, the upper duct 22 and the lower duct 24 do not abut on a radiator support vertical wall 28, and in the middle of the retreat of the upper duct 22 and the lower duct 24, the bent portion 34B abuts on a front portion 28A of the radiator support vertical wall 28. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
