<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can increase excitement and enjoyment of a game while preventing the lowering of a working factor of variation display. <P>SOLUTION: As a variation pattern kind, one of a plurality of variation pattern kinds including the variety pattern kind including a variation pattern accompanying a super ready-to-win state and the variation pattern kind not including the super ready-to-win state, is determined by using a losing variation pattern kind determination table, and the variety pattern is decided from among the variation patterns included in the decided variation pattern kind. In this case, in the losing variation pattern kind table, irrespective of the storage number of total reservations, common determination values (230 to 251) is allocated to the variation pattern kinds including the variation pattern accompanying the super ready-to-win state.
