<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting device for Buddhist altar fittings which prevents the falling down of Buddhist alter fittings put on a supporting plate of a Buddhist altar. <P>SOLUTION: The supporting devices 1, 3, and 5 for Buddhist altar fittings, support an incense burner K, pair of candleholders S, incense stick holder T, match extinguisher M, tea cup C for Buddhist altar, pair of rice bowls R for Buddhist altar, and flower vase H, and even when the Buddhist alter B is shaken by earthquake or the like, the incense burner K, pair of candleholders S, incense stick holder T, match extinguisher M, tea cup C, pair of rice bowls R, and flower vase H are prevented from falling down. For example, even when the candleholder S is inclined, the candle holder S makes contact with the inner peripheral surface of an insertion hole 21, and is prevented from falling down. The incense burner K, incense stick holer K, match extinguisher M, tea cup C, pair of rice bowls R, and the flower vase H are also similarly prevented from falling down.
