MOLTEN SLAG ATOMIZATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE: An apparatus for atomizing molten slag is provided to control the temperature of the molten slag according to the weather or working hours by controlling the operation of a heating burner. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(100) for atomizing molten slag comprises a chamber(10), a rotary disc(30), one or more heating burners(50), and a temperature sensor(70). High temperature molten slag(S) is putted into the chamber. The rotary disc is rotatably installed inside the chamber. The rotary disc forms molten slag droplets at the edge. The heating burners are mounted to the chamber, and heat the molten slag on the rotary disc. The temperature sensor measures the temperature of the molten slag, and outputs a measured value to a controller(90).
