PURPOSE: A housing for a light proximity sensor is provided to minimize a tilt of a housing with respect to a substrate. CONSTITUTION: A housing for a light proximity sensor comprises a light source, an optical detector, a substrate, and a housing. The housing comprises a first module(112), a second module(116), a first supporter, and a second supporter. The first module comprises a cavity accommodating a first aperture and a light source. The second module comprises a cavity accommodating a second aperture and the optical detector. The first supporter is arranged between the first and second modules. The first supporter provides an interface between the housing and the substrate and transfers a vertical force applied to the second module to the first module. The second supporter is provided to one or more cavities of the first and second modules. The second supporter minimizes a tilt of the housing with respect to the substrate.
