PURPOSE: A dry coating apparatus is provided to be operated for long time by removing the generation of arc. CONSTITUTION: A dry coating apparatus comprises a coating unit, a heat source part(30), a vacuum chamber(16), and a coating material feeding unit(40). The coating unit coats deposition steam created through heating-evaporation of the provided coating material in an object. The coating unit is in vacuum state. The heat source part heats and evaporates coating material. The object passes through a sealing conveying roll(18a, 18b). The vacuum state of the vacuum chamber is kept by the coating unit.
