OXIDATION POND FOR TREATING ACID MINE DRAINAGE

PURPOSE: An oxidizing tank for treating mine waste water is provided to increase the eliminating efficiency of iron in the mine waste water by using main baffles and auxiliary baffles. CONSTITUTION: An oxidizing tank(100) for treating mine waste water includes an inlet(11), a waste bath(12), and an outlet(13). The mine waste water is introduced through the inlet. The mine waste water is maintained in the water bath. The mine waste water is discharged through the outlet. While the mine waste water is maintained in the water bath, iron in the mine waste water is oxidized and precipitated. The oxidizing tank includes a plurality of main baffles(21). The main baffles are separately arranged to the crossing direction to the connecting direction of the inlet and the outlet.
