PURPOSE: A probability graph model generating apparatus and a variable combination determining method are provided to reduce operation quantity according to the generation of a probability graph model by determining generation of variable combination. CONSTITUTION: An independent variable obtaining unit(301) obtains independent variable including output variable. A variable combination determining unit(302) determines variable combination according to information quantity of output variable. A first matrix generating unit generates a first matrix including stream data of the independent variable. A second matrix generating unit generates a second matrix selectively combining stream data of first variable.
