Hollow-wall box comprising a housing that is provided with a first bottom wall and a first circumferential wall, wherein the first bottom wall and the first circumferential wall jointly bound an installation space, wherein the first circumferential wall at a mounting side that faces away from the first bottom wall has an installation edge that bounds a primary opening, wherein the housing is provided with a first elongated bush and a second elongated bush that with respect to the first circumferential wall are receded in the installation space, wherein the hollow-wall box comprises a fire-resistant insert piece that is provided with a second bottom wall and a second circumferential wall, wherein the outwardly oriented side of the second circumferential wall is complementarily shaped to the interior side of the first circumferential wall that is oriented towards the installation space and is in abutting contact therewith, wherein the fire-resistant insert piece is provided with a first passage and a second passage for allowing through or keeping free the first bush and the second bush.
