摘要 PURPOSE: A pinch bolt yoke of a steering device for a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing cost through manufacturing processes simplification and forming compact and uniform organization and high rigidity through cold forging. CONSTITUTION: A pinch bolt yoke of a steering device for a vehicle is manufactured as follows. Raw materials are worked into necessary elements. The elements are formed into a body(100) and a pair of yoke portions(200). 'U' shape portion is formed between yoke portions and a groove(110) is formed in the yoke portion. A through hole(130) portion is molded in the upper surface of the body formed between yoke portions. A serration for assembly components in the through hole is molded. Burrs in the yoke portion is removed. The both side straight portion of the yoke portion is worked into curved shape. A bolt fastening hole(150) is formed in a body. Slots are molded along a body and one side of the yoke portion. A connecting hole(230) is formed into a yoke portion for connecting a spider and other joints.
