SYSTEM FOR MEASURING AN OBJECT AND METHOD FOR MEASURING AN OBJECT USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A measuring system and a measuring method using the same are provided to preciously extract a 3D pointer by using a camera of low resolution and a camera of high resolution. CONSTITUTION: A measuring system comprises a camera unit(100), a camera angle adjusting module, a camera transferring module(800), a measuring server(500), and a control unit(600). The camera unit comprises a first camera and a second camera for photographing a measurement object. The camera angle adjusting module is installed in the camera unit, thereby adjusting a left-right angle and a up-down angle of the camera unit. The camera transferring module transfers the camera angle adjusting module where the camera unit is installed to a vertical direction and horizontal direction. The measuring server extracts 3D pointer information of the measurement object from second camera images of the measurement object photographed by the second camera. The control unit controls the camera unit, the camera angle adjusting module, and the camera transferring module.
