A clamp 10 for clamping a pair of control barriers comprises a first portion 12 having a proximal 12a and distal end 12b, and a second portion 14 having a proximal 14a and distal end 14b. The proximal end 12a of the first portion 12 is connected to the proximal end 14a of the second portion 14 by a connection portion 16 , the connection portion16 being a flexure bearing such that the first and second portions 12, 14 are rotatable towards one another and away from one another by flexing of said flexure bearing. The connection portion 16 defines at least part of a first channel 18 for receiving a tubular element. The first and second portions 12, 14 form a pair of jaws towards the respective distal ends 12b, 14b of the first and second portions 12, 14, where the pair of jaws define a second channel 20 for receiving a tubular element. The clamp 10 further comprises restraining means 22 for limiting movement of the first portion 12 relative to the second portion 14 so as to be capable of clamping at least one tubular element in the first channel 18 and/or second channel 20. |
