METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR EFFICIENT SUPPORT LOW DUTY MODE IN FEMTOCELLS

PURPOSE: A method for effectively supporting low duty cycle mode in femto cells and system thereof are provided to effectively scan the femto cells in a mobile station by providing LDC(Low Duty Cycle) pattern information to the mobile station. CONSTITUTION: One or more LDC patterns are defined based on plural LDC parameters related to one or more base stations(304). One or more LDC patterns are transmitted to a mobile station(306). The start frame offset, AI(Available Interval), and UAI(UnAvailable Interval) of one or more patterns are notified to the mobile station. One or more LDC patterns are transmitted by using a broadcasting method, a unicasting method, or a previously prepared method.
