PURPOSE: A multicast connection establishment method and apparatus thereof are provided to confirm supportable multicast services by exchanging multicast service abilities in a mobile station and a base station. CONSTITUTION: A mobile station transmits a registration message. A base station transmits a registration response message to the mobile station(S410). A node of the mobile station and the base station starts a dynamic service addition process for multicast connection(S420). The mobile station receives a downlink control channel including multicast resource assignment information from the base station(S430). The mobile station receives multicast data from the base station through the assigned resources(S440).
