An annular groove (10) is formed in the top face of a case (4) of a motion commander (2), and a ring (14) for inputting three-dimensional motion and a track ball (16) are arranged in the annular groove (10). Two-dimensional motion is inputted using the trackball (16), and three-dimensional motion in four degrees of freedom, excluding the two-dimensional motion, is inputted by operating the ring (14). Three-dimensional motion can thus be inputted easily.
