Intake module with integrated exhaust gas recirculation

The module (1) has an intake system comprising a fresh air channel (2), and a coupling device (3) for connecting an exhaust gas channel (4) with a fresh gas channel. The exhaust gas channel is connected to the coupling device by a collar (8) such that heat transfer is hindered. The intake system is formed as a plastic injection molding part. The exhaust gas channel is inserted at a side of the module, and an exhaust gas re-circulation valve (5) is inserted at an opposite side of the module. The module is designed as an intermediate flange. The coupling device is made of plastic such as polyamide or polypropylene. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling an intake module.
