PURPOSE: A small hydro power plant is provided to prevent safety accidents caused by a short circuit as a hydraulic turbine chamber is formed in a duplex type. CONSTITUTION: A small hydro power plant(100) comprises a structure(110), a connecting water path(120), a hydraulic turbine(130), a hydraulic turbine chamber(112), and electric equipment(140). The connecting water path is formed for the flow of water in the structure. The hydraulic turbine is formed in the connecting water path, and generates kinetic energy by a flow speed. The hydraulic turbine chamber is formed inside the structure to maintain and repair the hydraulic turbine. The electric equipment is formed inside the hydraulic turbine chamber. The electric equipment converts the kinetic energy of the hydraulic turbine into electric energy.
