THERMAL SPRAY APPARATUS

PURPOSE: A thermal spray device is provided to reduce power consumption by utilizing gas for spraying as power source for a wire rod transfer unit. CONSTITUTION: A thermal spray device comprises a spray unit(110), a pressure generating unit(150), and a transfer unit(140). The spray unit melts wire rod and sprays the melt. The pressure generating unit provides pressure for spraying the melt. The transfer unit is operated by the pressure of gas provided from the pressure generating unit to transfer wire rod to a nozzle of the spray unit. The transfer unit comprises a pneumatic motor and a roller. The roller is rotated by the pneumatic motor as being in contact with wire rod, thereby transferring the wire rod.
