PURPOSE: An apparatus for preventing air loss of an air cavity ship is provided to prevent air in an air cavity from leaking through an air cavity wall to obtain a stable air layer, thereby reducing frictional resistance between seawater and the air layer. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for preventing air loss of an air cavity ship comprises ultrasonic oscillators(2). The ultrasonic oscillators are installed in an air cavity wall(1) forming an air cavity and apply ultrasonic vibration to the air cavity wall. Accordingly, flow of air bubbles is generated at a boundary section meeting an air layer and seawater in the air cavity to reduce the loss of the air to the outside of the air cavity.
