PURPOSE: A light emitting device mounting device and method are provided to mount a number of light emitting devices within a short time by automating the whole processes from alignment and mounting of the light emitting devices. CONSTITUTION: A light emitting device feeding unit aligns the vertical direction and polarity of light emitting devices to be supplied. Handlers(800a,800b,800c,800d) transfer the light emitting devices provided from the light emitting device feeding unit. A light emitting device shuttle unit transfers the light emitting devices transferred from the handlers to a light emitting device mounting zone. A light emitting device mounting unit mounts the light emitting device transferred by the light emitting device shuttle unit on a printed circuit board. The light emitting device feeding unit comprises feeder parts(110a,110b,110c,110d) which align the vertical direction and polarity of the light emitting devices and transfer parts(120a,120b,120c,120d) which transfer the aligned light emitting devices to the light emitting device shuttle unit. |
