PURPOSE: An apparatus for transmitting data and method thereof are provided to use FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array) including an inner storage unit by interlocking a main processing unit with a codec of a subscriber board in a key-phone system. CONSTITUTION: A connection control unit(110) is located between a code(120) and a main processing unit(112). The connection control unit stores the data provided from a subscriber board or the main processing unit. The connection control unit changes established transmission unit data into the interface of an SPI(Serial Port Interface) method in the stored data. The connection control unit transmits the changed data to the codec. The connection control unit changes data provided from the codec into a parallel method.
