PURPOSE: A construction method of a tunnel using steel ribs having a function for preventing a steel bar from sagging is provided to reduce construction time and costs by enabling the easy arrangement work of steel bars. CONSTITUTION: A construction method of a tunnel using steel ribs having a function for preventing a steel bar from sagging is as follows. Support nuts(210) having screw holes are installed on the lower flange(120) of each steel rib body(100) at uniform intervals. Sealing caps are installed in the screw holes of the support nuts. The steel rib bodies are installed along the excavated surface of a tunnel at uniform intervals. Shotcrete is placed on the excavated surface of the tunnel having the steel rib bodies. A waterproof cloth is installed on the excavated surface of the tunnel. The sealing caps are separated from the screw holes by cutting the parts of the waterproof cloth where the sealing caps are located, and bolt members(220) are fastened to the screw holes. Upper nuts, waterproof sheets(230), washers, and lower nuts are successively fastened to the bolt members. Connection members(250) are coupled to the bolt members.
