发明名称 Elektrode zur Elektro-Erosion mit isolierenden, abstandhaltenden Teilen
摘要 An electrolytic tool 26, Fig. 2, for removing work material has a face 50 of insulating material 48 supplied with electrolyte under pressure through tubes 46 which are conductive and also supply the electrolysing current, the tubes being positioned slightly behind the face 50 to prevent electrical shorting with the workpiece. The electrolyte and current are supplied to the tubes via a chamber 44 by a pipe 40. The tool is insulated and also has a grounded metallic sheath 52. In making the face 50, the end of the tool is ground to a smooth flat, concave, convex or other shape and then brought close to a forming tool 56, Figs. 2 and 3, and the ends of the tubes 46 electrolytically eroded until they have receded by a few thousandths of an inch. In a further embodiment, Fig. 5, electrolyte passages to the working face are formed by brazing together a flat and a corrugated metal sheet 80, 82, units so formed being placed together and the intervening spaces between units being filled by insulating material 83 such as aluminium oxide loaded epoxy resin. The ends of the metal sheets are electrolytically eroded to leave projecting buttons of the insulating material. Instead of wholly filling the spaces between units with the insulating material 83, strips 100, Fig. 7, may be filled with solder to better distribute the electrolysing current through the stack of units. Fig. 17 shows an electrode 102 having a surrounding synthetic rubber tube 104 preventing free flow of electrolyte away from the electrode and thus preventing a sharp pressure drop across the interface with the workpiece. Air blasts may be arranged to blow the electrolyte from <PICT:0969957/C6-C7/1> <PICT:0969957/C6-C7/2> <PICT:0969957/C6-C7/3> <PICT:0969957/C6-C7/4> <PICT:0969957/C6-C7/5> the work face as soon as it has passed the edge of the electrode. The electrode may be hand held. Alternatively, it may be mounted so that it is kept moving over the surface of a workpiece by means of a motor, chain and sprocket mechanism, Fig. 19 (not shown). A tool, having an arrangement of flat and corrugated plates, Figs. 20 and 21 (not shown), provides for both supplying and removing electrolyte to and from the interface of the tool with a workpiece. Specification 943,101 is referred to.
