PURPOSE: A software definition radio terminal apparatus and radio application distribution and installation method are provided to selectively embody hardware or software according to power consumption or the complexity of each block included in a standard baseband API(Application Processing Interface). CONSTITUTION: A microprocessor(320) extracts codes(317,318) including a radio controller layer and a baseband driver layer from a storage unit(310). The microprocessor executes the extracted codes. The microprocessor loads one or more function blocks(311,313) which is necessary for embodying a radio application from the storage unit to baseband accelerators(330-1~330-5). The loaded function block includes a baseband control function block which controls the base band accelerators in real time.
