The invention relates to a method for the use of a Circuit Switched (CS) service by a User Equipment attached to a core network of an Evolved Packet System (EPS) mobile communication network, wherein the User Equipment comprises a first radio interface and a second radio interface, the first radio interface being able to be used for a communication of the User Equipment to the Evolved Packet System (EPS) and the second radio interface being able to be used for a communication of the User Equipment to the CS-domain of a GSM/UMTS mobile communication network, wherein in case that
-- the User Equipment is attached to the Evolved Packet System (EPS) and
-- the use of a CS-domain service is needed
the second radio interface is automatically activated for the communication of the User Equipment to the CS-domain of the GSM/UMTS mobile communication network, while an attachment and the communication of the User Equipment to the Evolved Packet System (EPS) is maintained via the first radio interface.
