Ozone is dissolved in a mixture of halogenated methane or ethane solvents, which may comprise (a) trichlorofluoromethane and 1,2-dichloro-1,1,2,2-tetrafluoroethane, (b) trichlorofluoromethane and monochlorodifluoromethane, (c) 1,1,2-trichlorc-1,2,2-trifluoroethane, or (d) chloroform and carbon tetrachloride. The respective ratios of solvents in each mixture may be, in (a) 2: 5, (b) 4: 2, (c) 5: 4, and in (d) 3.4: 2.4 by volume. |
