PURPOSE: A traffic correction method and apparatus thereof are provided to minimize traffic information errors by calculating corrected traffic based on the collected traffic. CONSTITUTION: A traffic classification unit classifies the traffic information of extracted three periods(S201). In case month traffic information is not a non-record status, a traffic correction unit confirms whether month traffic information is classified as a discontinuous state(S203,S205). The traffic correction unit corrects the month traffic information which is classified as the discontinuous state(S207).
