PURPOSE: An automatic teller machine and a shutter opening and closing device are provided to reduce space restrictions and costs by not including a separate driving unit for driving a locking device. CONSTITUTION: A shutter opening and closing device comprises a shutter(131), a driving unit(20), and a locking device(30). The shutter covers a space in which a media is loaded and unloaded. The driving unit generates power for driving the shutter and transfers the power to the shutter. The locking device is connected to a power transmission unit and receives the power of the driving unit from the power transmission unit. The power transmission unit comprises a first power transmission unit, a second power transmission unit, and a third power transmission unit. The first power transmission unit is connected to the driving unit. The second power transmission unit is connected to the driving unit. The third power transmission unit connects the first power transmission unit and the second power transmission unit. The locking device maintains the closed state of the shutter.
