PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sustained release antiallergic agent having relaxation and cancellation effect on allergosis such as nasal congestion and sneeze, to provide a sustained release antiallergic preparation, and to provide daily sanitary goods using the antiallergic agent. SOLUTION: This sustained release antiallergic agent contains a vegetable essential oil and dl-menthol as the active ingredients, the sustained release antiallergic preparation is obtained by granulating the agent or impregnating the agent into a substrate and another sustained release antiallergic preparation is obtained by kneading the sustained release antiallergic agent with a kneading material and granulating or being carried on a substrate.
