Manufacturing process of a composite turbine blade and the blade obtained thereby

The procedure consists of creating a three-dimensional preform from woven carbon, glass, silicon aluminium or polymer filaments (20) with visually identifiable tracers (22) that are different to the other filaments to form the blade (12) and its foot (14), and cutting out the preform to leave intact tracers along one reference surface. The preform is then pre-deformed and made compact and rigid before placing it in a mould and injecting a thermo-setting resin bonding agent to impregnate the entire preform and maintain the distance between the filaments. The mould is then heated to produce a moulded article with the shape and dimensions of the blade.
