<p>The present invention discloses a method and device for implementing admission control. The device comprises: when a base station controller receives a bandwidth admission application and when a sum of a bandwidth of the bandwidth admission application and an accumulative application bandwidth is within a preset overbooking area, determining whether a sum of the bandwidth of the bandwidth admission application and an actual use value of a current bandwidth is beyond a bandwidth stabilizing work area, and if yes, rejecting the bandwidth admission application, wherein a bandwidth position of the overbooking area is higher than a bandwidth position of the bandwidth stabilizing work area. The present invention dynamically corrects the distributable bandwidth by using a feedback mechanism so as to bear more service accesses in the case of limited IP transmission resources.</p> |
