<p>A soft magnetic ferritic chromium steel having at most 0.025% carbon, at most 0.02% nitrogen, 0.5 to 1.8% silicon, 0.30 to 1.5% manganese, 0.20 to 0.35% sulfur, 12.0 to 18.0% chromium, 0.05 to 0.8% copper, 0.5 to 3.0% molybdenum, 0.02 to 0.35% niobium, 0.4 to 1.2% vanadium, up to 0.6% titanium, 0.001 to 0.02% aluminum, up to 0.2% calcium, 0.01 to 1.0% nickel, 0.01 to 0.4% cobalt, and up to 0.004% boron is suitable as a corrosion-resistant, low-burr micro-machinable material having a low coercive force, in particular for functional magnetic elements, for example for producing magnetic valves, motor vehicle injection systems, control valves, magnetic field shields in plasma chambers and physical devices.</p> |
